WONGO

An Artist Review of a talented youngster by the name of Wongo!

: : : : : W O N G O : : : : :

Ok now this guy needs a serious introduction! He's not been on the main front for a while, there is talk of him hitting the scene only 3 years ago, and he hit hard! Also known as Matthew Ladgrove, a producer that has been plowing through the competition! Wongo is a wild card favorite of mine in the house industry. If you want to book someone that shows you know simply because they they don't, book Wongo and teach the masses! The guy is on the fast track abroad, but to select places and select crowds. A diamond in the ruff, as far as production work goes! There has been many bootlegs produced such as Donna Summers, Queen, Snoop Dog, and he's done remixes for Don Diablo, Dj Fame, the Subs, Edu K, Will Bailey, Acid Jacks, and more! It's rare I find something that he worked on that wasn't gold (in my opinion). The sound he has is quirky, goofy, tech house, with a bouncier bass line. You be the judge!

Phil Weeks

Artist Spotlight: Phil Weeks : : :

Phil has been a Dj and Producer and well known face in the industry for years! He is half of "Fries and Bridges" and runs the record label "Rob Soul Recordings". A true pioneer and house purist all the way and still sticking to vinyl sets and old hardware from the 90's when working in the studio. Mr. Weeks has a unique way to move a crowd with a hard hit bass kick from the TR 909 and funky rolling bass lines! His new release just had a debut on Rob Soul Recordings March 9th titled "Raw Instrumental". You can find this album on Beatport or Juno for download.
